Diva

I just had to get Bella a pair of sunglasses. Isaiah refuses to wear any and won't let me buy him any. Bella didn't even care! She looks so adorable. Daddy said she looked like a druggy! He just doesn't know fashion. The jacket says it all!

Cookie fun

Isaiah helped momma make cookies. Of course, a whole container of sprinkles went on 1 tray, but he sure had fun!

Pretty in pink

I thought Bella just looked so cute in her little pink bibs.

Helpful

I think Bella was fussing a bit, so Isaiah thought he would help her find her thumb to suck on. Normally he is pulling her fingers out of her mouth because he is always told to take his fingers out of his mouth.

lots of love

Isaiah and Bella with Nana and Pap-pap. Look at those sweet cheeks! I just love her!

Sibling love

This was how I found Isaiah one day when I had put Bella on the couch for a bit. He had brought Bella her stuffed bunny and he crawled up with her. Of course, he had bear, who came from Alaska when Nana and Pap-pap went. Isaiah had to give Bella kisses

These two are just the cutest ever! I hope they grow to be best friends.

boys will be boys

One night, Isaiah was playing in his room and I heard toys being dumped all over. After a while, this was how we found him. He is so silly and loves to have fun!

sawdust fun

Isaiah loves to "help" daddy when he works in the basement. He plays under the saw horses in the sawdust. He gets cars and runs them through it. He does it for hours. He always needs a bath and change of clothes when he comes up, but he has a blast.

Upate

Just wanted to write a quick update. We have been a sick household lately, but are slowly on the mend. After my surgery, I did well, just had some times of discomfort. I had a tubal ligation for those that are wondering. Kind of sad, but we know that God provided for us in ways that we could never imagine and if there are to be more children joining our family, God will provide through adoption.
Isaiah had been put on azithromycin and prednisone. Fri night (the day of my surgery), he spent the entire night crying and was inconsolable and restless. Sat morning he was okay for a few hours, but began the same routine over again. I finally called the Dr's office and was advised to take him to the ER as it is not normal for a child to be crying over 24 hours. I had little sleep that night. Thank the Lord for my mom who stayed and that Bella slept well. After being in the ER we were advised to stop the prednisone as that can cause bad side effects and they contributed that to his unusual behavior. They also said we could stop the antibiotic, but that was our call. There was nothing they could find, so they figured whatever was ailing him was viral and an antibiotic wouldn't do anything, so I stopped that as well. Mon night we received a call from an ER nurse, who told us that Isaiah had pneumonia, so to continue the antibiotic. (A radiologist had read his chest x-ray on Mon and found the infiltrate, which is a sign of pneumonia). So we started the antibiotic again and called the Dr Tues. So far, he seems to be doing well. The coughing has ceased greatly. For a few days, he couldn't do much physical activity as it would send him into coughing fits, causing him to vomit. But that is passing and he is back to his mischieveous self!
On Wed I noticed Bella starting to wheeze, but assumed it was an upper respiratory wheeze, therefore, not being into her lungs to cause any problems. By evening it had gotten worse, so I listened to her lungs with my stethoscope. Good thing because she ended up in the ER as well having nebulizer treatments. They were thinking of admiting her, but decided against it, (not what momma wanted) and she was sent home. By the time we got an appt the next day with the Dr, she was horrible again. She had to have a treatment in the office and we were sent home with a nebulizer and albuterol. On Thurs, she had a total of 6 treatments from noon to 10pm. That is how bad she was. We are down to about 1 or 2 a day. She is still very congested and coughing. She is also getting spoiled from being held while she sleeps that I am having problems getting her to sleep in her crib. I finally swaddled her today and got her down. Hopefully it lasts!
So that has been our life. I also have a cold and cough. But we are all on the mend and hopeful of all that God has in store for us in the coming weeks.

Story time

Isaiah goes to story time on Mon mornings. This is Miss Vicky reading them a book. Isaiah and momma singing at story time

Bella was so into this book about a bat. She kept leaning closer to see it

Nana got to read Isaiah a story.

Little pink cow

Bella looks like a little pink cow in this outfit.

Daddy's girl

Bella's little shirt says "Daddy's little sweetheart"

Nana time

Nana kissing Bella all up! Nana has spent the entire weekend on our couch. This night she was on the love seat because Aunt Erin spent the night as well. I hope to someday have a house with a guest room. Nana hadn't had much sleep, so we let her go to bed. Of course, Andy had to take pictures.

Cutie

Will you be mine? This was Bella's little Valentine outfit. She was so cute. There was a big heart on her butt!

So cute in her flowered pj's from Auntie Joy

Bathing Beauty

Bella is so cute and pudgy! I love all her rolls. Why doesn't anyone ever say that about adults?

"Whoa! What are you guys doing?"

Trains

Isaiah loved showing Uncle Bill his train. Uncle Bill loves trains and has a whole bunch of them that he can't wait to set up in their new house when it is built.

Just pictures

Bella is showing off her bling. (Notice the ring that Aunt Erin tortured her with) She isn't very happy! Valentine cutie

Doesn't she look like a bull dog? I love her little "mean" face!

Little smiley!

Home and well

I am home and well after my surgery. I have very little pain except if I move a lot, even then it is just uncomfortable. Dr. Donato said everything went well and I have no scar tissue from the other surgery he did a few years ago. My biggest complaint is a very sore throat from the breathing tube. After surgery, I was very nauseated for a while. After 2 rounds of drugs, I finally got through that. I am home and my mom is helping take care of the kids. Isaiah and daddy are playing. Both kids are very sick. Bella is on amoxicillin and Isaiah is on azithromycin and prednisone. It was a looooong night with both of them. Please pray for them as whining is the common theme in our house and momma can't lift any kids until Sun for Bella and Tues for Isaiah. Momma and daddy are exhausted, but glad for wonderful family that prays non stop and helps care for us!

Pic of Isaiah

Today I took Isaiah and Bella to get their pictures done. Of course, when we go to Sears, Isaiah poses like a champ. So here is an adorable picture of him. They were both in their Adidas suits with their soccer balls. So stinkin' cute!

Lovin' my babies

Everyone must think I am a horrible mother since I only have pictures of Bella. But I promise that I try to get Isaiah's picture, but he is into saying no and running from me when I try to get one. Especially if it is with his sister. Not sure why, because he loves her all up. My mom manages to bribe him with money to get a quick picture, but he usually only lets her get one, unless she offers more money. He isn't a dumb kid! He loves to put money in his piggy bank. When my dad comes, Isaiah will do a dropping motion and say "pop, pop" and then oink like a pig. We figured out he wants money from pap-pap. But he always wants for Bella's bank too, so he does share with her. But it is hilarious when he does it. My little boy is growing up so fast! Hopefully he will let me get some cute pics of him. But it might be a while. I have my surgery this Friday, so I will be out of commission for a while. Thank the Lord for a wonderful mom who is taking off work and a mother-in-law who offered to come up and help if I need. So I will spend the weekend laying in bed and maybe catching up on some sleep. (Bella has been a stinker with sleeping lately). My sister and her hubby are also coming in for the weekend, so there will be lots of help. I can't lift the kiddos until the following week, so that is mainly what I need help for.
So keep us in your prayers if you think of us. We appreciate it and I will keep the pictures coming as much as I can!

Valentine Beauty

Bella is getting ready for Valentine's Day. She was so cute today in her little heart dress and tights. The tights look like they have shoes on them. "Nana, I've had enough with the picture taking!"

Pretty in Purple

Bella is so cute in girly colors. She is cute in anything! I love her big eyes. I'm sure Nana (aka Grandma Flash) had taken a few too many pictures.

Love Bug

This is our sweet little love bug who is growing so fast! I love her to pieces! Bella is so smiley! She especially lights up when Isaiah is around her. It is so cute. I pray they will be great friends as they grow up!
