My cousin Jason got married to Shannon on July 7th. They had a beautiful wedding in York. Andy had the pleasure of performing the ceremony. It was great to have a special part of their day.

Amazing!
My mom is not an animal person, so I had to post pictures of her loving up next to a dog. They went dog-sledding on their trip. The dog on the left is Happy. They brought Isaiah a stuffed dog back and he loves it.

Being Silly
Isaiah loves to make this face and say "OOOHHHH!" He thinks it is so funny! He looks too funny when he does it. Smiling so cute for the camera.

Out to Eat
Isaiah loves to go out to eat, especially to see people. He is so social. Nana always has her camera ready, and he knows it!

Big Boy
Isaiah is growing right up. Today I finally got the little potty out and cleaned it up to try him out on it. My friend started her little guy around 9 months and by 18-20 months, he was pretty well potty trained. He isn't 2 yet and wears big boy undies most of the time. Yeah Jacob!
So I have been putting it off every day and today I finally did it. After his morning nap we sat on it and he thought it was pretty cool, especially banging his wooden blocks together while sitting there. But nothing happened before he was READY to get up. So I was a little bummed, but reminded myself it was only the first time.
After lunch he needed his clothes changed after making a mess so I decided to give the potty another try. He not only went pee-pee, but also pooped! I was so proud! I can't believe how big he is getting. He read a book and loved sitting there. So hopefully we can get this thing going!
I will try to post pics of how cute he is sitting there. If I ever get any!

Attacks of Satan
Sorry I have been MIA for a while, but our lives can't get any more hectic. We have no Father's Day pictures on here because a few days before Father's Day, Andy's dad suffered a stroke just above his brain stem. It was a mild stroke, but still left him with deficits. He has right sided weakness and slurred speech. As of today he is still in the hospital on the rehab floor. He is improving well, but still has a long road ahead of him.
On Father's Day our youth pastor's 4 year old daughter broke 7 bones in her foot and suffered a severe laceration. A few more centimetes and her toes could have been severed. We praise God that didn't happen and she is recovering well.
On July 1st a young couple from our church lost their baby. She was 30 weeks pregnant and has had leukemia and treatments the entire pregnancy. Ironically, the baby didn't die from anything related to the leukemia. They need so many prayers right now.
On July 5th Isaiah ended up in the Emergency Room covered with hives. We were and still are unsure of what caused them. They lasted until Sunday, which was very scary. At times his lips were swollen and once he seemed to have trouble swallowing. He lived on Benadryl every 6 hours. As of today he has still not had any and we are so thankful. We are praying that they don't return and that we could figure out the source of them if they do.
Our youth group went to LIFE in Orlando FL this past week. On their return trip, Pastor Steve and Andrea had to be dropped off at a hospital in Georgia where Andrea had to have emergency surgery. Her appendix perforated. Praise God that surgery went well and they are on their way home as I write.
Please pray against satan and his attacks. Help us to stand firm as a church and to join together to stand against any attacks that come our way. Pray that we have no divisions between us as a staff. Pray that Andy and I will stand strong as we are at the end of our ropes. Andy has been in charge of everything since his dad being in the hospital and when the youth pastor and administrator were in FL. Many people tell Andy that he is "getting a taste of running his own church", but are forgetting that it is also his dad that is sick, so that is added stress because he is also helping his mom and his siblings are doing a lot of traveling and care as well. Pray that more people will step up to help out and recognize when there is a need and not need Andy to ask them for every little thing that needs done. Most importantly that we stand strong in our marriage and don't let satan divide us and for me as I care for Isaiah by myself most days. We covet your prayers and love to us. We are sustained by them!

This is fun!
Isaiah is into crawling under things now. I was working at the computer and he was on the floor. He managed to scoot himself under the desk and tried to go all the way until I pulled him out. But I had to capture some pictures first!

One Cool Dude
I gave Isaiah a mohawk one night after his bath. We thought he looked too cute! "Okay momma. I am bored with the picture taking."

Trying to sleep
This was the other night when Isaiah was getting ready for bed. His new thing is to put the burp cloth over his head while drinking his bottle and falling asleep. Daddy caught some pictures.

Let me out!
Isaiah was having fun in his crib one evening. I put him in so I could get his pj's and found him trying to pull himself up. He thought he was big stuff!

Peek-A-Boo
Isaiah thinks it is so funny to have the burp cloth over his head, especially when I say "where's the baby?" He just giggles!
Here's the sweet baby
