Cheesy

My dad (Erica's) has gotten Isaiah hooked on cheese balls. While at the store tonight, he saw them and daddy got them for him. He held tight to the bucket the whole time in the store and had to carry them to the truck. We had to promise him some when we got home. So before bath time, he ate his cheese balls. Of course, the shirt came off because I know how messy he gets. He wasn't allowed to get up from his desk or touch anything and we went right to the bath after he was done. He was such a mess! It makes us laugh to watch him!

Reading

Isaiah loves to look at books. While finishing dinner, he kept wanting momma or daddy to read books with him. If we are still eating, we tell him to read to Bruno. Especially since Bruno can't see. We tell him to explain the pictures to Bruno. He was too cute when he got right down on the floor, under the table with Bruno. He jabbered away. It really looked like Bruno was listening to him. (Ignore momma's legs in the background.)

Bath time

Momma went to Nana's one night to do corn, so daddy had Isaiah for a while and since they played outside and got messy, daddy got him in the tub. Daddy makes lots of bubbles and water for Isaiah when he gives a bath. When I got home, I found the little man with a bubble "beard". Then daddy put them on his head and he thought it was funny. He loves his bath time!

Lounging

Isaiah loves to watch Sesame street in the mornings. It helps momma and daddy to get showers and everything too. One morning, daddy gave Isaiah a pillow and teddy and lounged him on the couch to watch. He was so adorable! Daddy had to get pictures.

Cars, cars & more cars

Isaiah LOVES cars. Any kind, as long as he can run them around and make noises like he is driving them. Anyone who comes to visit gets tugged into his room. He then puts pillows on the floor and points to them because he wants you to sit or lay on the floor to play with him. He just loves all of them. When we talk to Aunt Joy on skype, he brings them to show her. Thank goodness we have gotten down to showing her only 5 or 6 instead of all of them. Daddy has lots of cars in the basement that he has gotten over the years, so when Isaiah has been very obedient he can take a trip to the basement for a "new" car. Somedays, he thinks he deserves to go to the basement, but momma and daddy feel otherwise. He usually is ok with that after a few minutes. But hopefully these pics capture all that he has!

VBS

These are some pics of Isaiah from VBS the end of July. It was an Amazon theme and Aunt Joy found these cute shirts that were perfect for it.

Hiding in the hut

Eating jello. He didn't like it and kept spitting every bite out and taking another one.

Modeling the "hats" they made during craft time. His shirt has a snake on it, but is on backwards since that was how they were supposed to wear their clothes that night.

Big brother

This is Isaiah's big brother shirt. Momma couldn't find any so she made one. A little dorky, but cute!

My dad's work has a picnic every year and their kids and grandkids under 18 get a gift. This was what Isaiah got. My dad thought it was cheesey, but Isaiah liked putting it on. I thought he looked so cute in it too. He kept taking it on and off.

Fun times

Isaiah had so much fun playing in Aunt Joy's back yard. He would chase after balls that daddy would kick up the hill.

Fun day

The pictures that follow are of us enjoying our time at Aunt Joy's. She took us to a fun park and the pictures that follow are of our morning there. Isaiah had a lot of fun and wasn't scared. Momma was so glad for Aunt Joy because her and daddy did most of the work with watching after Isaiah. He was all over the place and just enjoying himself. He really likes to climb!

Being cute

I just love our little man so much! He is a lot of work and discipline, but so many smiles and giggles too.
