Waiting!

We are still waiting for our baby to arrive. My excitement has turned to frustration. I am having problems with my blood pressure and have to get tests done frequently. I am 38 weeks and 1 day so I say it is time to take him. My OB has me scheduled to be induced on Oct 3rd, next Tuesday, when I am 39 weeks. In the meantime, I have to get blood pressure checks and more tests. If they are abnormal, I get sent to L&D for non-stress tests and more blood work. For the past week I have been 3cm dilated. We are praying that he comes on his own as I am not looking forward to an induction. I know God has a plan for everything, so I need prayer to help me deal with my frustration. It feels like there is no end in sight. Hopefully the next time I post we will have pictures of the sweet little guy!

Almost time

I can't believe it is almost time for us to meet our sweet little guy. I only have 3 weeks until my due date, but at my appointment today was almost 3cm dilated. So we are praying that within the next week we get to finally meet him.
I have had a few problems with my blood pressure, but because of the faithful prayers of many, it was not a problem today. Praise the Lord!
We can't wait to give you all the news of his arrival and finally share his name with everyone.

Baby Shower

This was at my family and friends baby shower that my mom did for me. The quilt was made by my grandmother. She made one for each of her grandkids before she passed away. They were all numbered for each grandchild. She didn't get to meet any of her great-grandchildren, but planned ahead for all of them! 

My two "boys"

Bruno loves his dad. There may be a little jealousy at first when the baby comes, but then Bruno will love him! Dad had to spoil him a bit because of all the changes with getting the nursery ready, Bruno knew something wasn't right and was just beside himself. 

The Nursery

We finally got the nursery all together and I love it!! My mom and aunt graciously cleaned, set everything up and helped me sort through clothes. Now we just wait for our precious bundle to arrive! 

Family

My sister, me and my mom at my cousins' wedding in July. It was very warm and I was worn out, so I look a little rough! :) 

Growing well

Our little man is growing well. I am now 30 weeks pregnant, which is hard to believe. In another 10 weeks we should have our little boy in our arms. He is such a miracle and we are excited to meet him. We never thought we would get to this point in our lives.
He is so active and it is fun to watch him kicking my belly and see it jump.

Healthy Boy

Everything appears to be going great with our little boy. He is growing and all his parts are in place that they can see. We praise God for that.

I had my glucose tolerance test with great results so everything is looking good. Only 16-17 more weeks until we finally meet this little guy! He is very active and I love to feel him moving around.

Daddy is very excited about having a boy to play cars and trucks with.

Bruno (chocolate lab) loves to bring toys to his brother (lays them on mommy's tummy) and to give kisses to him. I think this will be a very spoiled baby!

Things are going well. I have my follow-up u/s tomorrow 5/25. I am just anxious to get it over with and know that all is okay.

I am now 19 weeks pregnant and starting to feel better. We had an ultrasound on 5/15 and we are having a little BOY! How exciting!

I have to go for a follow-up ultrasound to check some things. We are praying that our little guy is healthy and complete. We trust in an awesome God!

What an amazing God we serve! Imagine our surprise to find out on Feb 10, 2006 that we are pregnant! This coming almost a month after being told by my OB that we should think about in vitro or adoption. God's ways are way above our own.

Our sweet bundle is to arrive on Oct 10, 2006. I am just beginning the second trimester and everything is looking great!
